I'm paying £1800TPFT for my M reg S13, For the earlyearly S14's the quote was the same. I would've preferred an S14, but for the fact they were out of my budget.

Give me a year or so ;)

I dont get it, everyone seems to have really good quotes from Adrian Flux, but they offered me a policy for 2500 for an S13. What gives??? I have 2 years NCB no crashes / convictions been driving for 4 years. Maybe living in Essex and working in IT is increasing it. Im off for more quotes now from Tescos etc .... wish me luck

and one from Tesco thats much friendlier.

So this is for a 22 year old with 2 NCB and no convictions.

Adrian Flux awaiting quote (was 2500 for s13)
Elephant 2200
Tesco's 1310 fully comp.
CIA 1290 (lol prolly cos of the tescos quote)
CIS Wont quote me

Hmmmmm I might be able to afford Tescos. How are they with mods????

Uh, they dont like them apparently, so i've heard, hence the reason why I have kept quiet. Risky I know but im gonna change insurance company when its up for renewal.

Cheers,

Dave.

they are horrific for mods, but only in some cases - they wanted £120 a year for my £60 air filter
But apparently a zorst and wheel wouldnt have cost me any extra
Ive also recently found out that elephant wont cover actuators ........... or turbos, or IC's, etc. :(

So realistically, do people think I could get much lower than 1290 fully comp???

Well ladies and gents, the answer is YES!!!! Adrian Flux, who had previously quoted me £2500 Comprehensive on an S13 valued at around £3000, have just quoted me £750 Comprehensive on an S14a valued at around £7000. What the hell? Who cares though, at this rate, I might be able to afford to buy one :)
