I turn 21 on 9th January and have sent the letter cancelling my current policy, I now have to choose between TPFT and Fully Comp. Tesco have given me very low quotes for both at my age, but I dunno. TPFT is £645 and Fully Comp is £850. What do I choose?

If I get TPFT then I can probably get my brakes and new gauges fitted in Jan otherwise it may well have to wait a while.

21 years old - 3 years no claims - garaged with cat 1 alarm.

There is not too much difference tween the two, so personally i would play it safe and go for fully comp.

My insurance is up for renewal aswell, and am looking at Tesco but they dont seem to like mods, so assuming you declare them, perhaps this is somethin to bear in mind.

Cia insurance http://www.cia-insurance.co.uk

Were cheaper than tesco.
Good luck . Jacko

Tesco do not like mods AT ALL
Im 23 and they wanted £850 a year comp, but with a £60 K+N fitted wanted another 120 quid a year!!
Best to get a quote off them with the mods declared before you go doing anything rash .........
Also try Elephant.co.uk and name your dad as a driver - saved me about £250 on tescos http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/smile.gif

At my age, a cheap quote is a cheap quote. If I smashed my car I wouldn't claim insurance anyway, dont qwanna lose NCB. So I don't tell companies about mods. Elephant unfortunately quoted me far more than Tesco with my mum as second driver.
