i was driving along today ....absolutly fine when my ignition light came on
the ignition light is staying on when the car is running...and the volts gauge is not showing anything
i dont know if its the altinator or the rectifier ... its eaten 2 rectifiers resently....so it would point to this
but... also. one thing makes me think that before i took it in to have its damage repaired the radio kept cutting out and then restarting when i went over a small bump ...maybe a loose earth strap on the car ?
ah well.... i sit and wait for the breakdown truck at college :indiff:
also...where are rectifiers on cars? .... aint it something to do with the change of ac to Dc ?
