Hi there

Could all the Nissan s13 owners please tell me their details, age, ncb, etc... and the premium annual cost. As I am after finding out the cheapest company to insure an Nissan 200sx S13 around 1992-1994.

I am 22 years old, with 2 years NCB, and am now looking for the cheapest fully comprehensive insurance company for one of these vehicles.

Age 25, 3 years NCD, no crashes, 3 points for speeding.

Elephant quoted me £621 fully comp with £100 excess + £250 voluntary excess.

The excess made quite a difference. with NO voluntary excess, I think I was nearer £900. :)

Hi there

I just don't get this, I just tried Tesco's online quoting system, put in I was 22, 2 years NCB, for a 1993 Nissan 200SX valued at £2500, and the quote came back with £1400 fully comprehensive. :(

Just wondering how people with the same age and ncb are gettings quotes half the price of main, is there some magic I need to do, or do I need to ring them?

Do you live in a war zone?? J/k

I would say that in my experience, online quote systems are not much cop.. Especially if your not Mr Average buying an average car... I was quoted (no exageration) £8500 by one of the companies linked to from AutoTrader's site(think it was insureyermotor.com) on my imported car. Obviously giving me the feck off card as I eventually got it covered for just under £850!!

PS are you the Gibbo from OCUK?

Online quotes highlight the difference that the excess makes. See one of my previous posts on this topic for my experience with excess.
Over the phone quotes, excess is not altered as an option to make the quote cheaper, they just tell you "the excess is £XXX.XX". :(

24 2 yncb no points outstanding tpft £525 with Adrian Flux value at £4500 with all mods declared.
Area makes a huge differance with Flux though, was meant to be moving to warwick so gave that address. not moving down now, so glasgow is another £85  so i moved in with my sis in edinburgh and it went to £21 :)

CIA quoted me £627 so give them a shout too
