I just had a quote from Adrian Flux for £842pa (£300 excess), with declaration of all mods which beats my current amount with Priveledge by about £400!

But.....they wont protect my full no claims bonus?! Whats that all about? It just not worth the risk of losing my NCB.

Has anyone actually had experience (or know anyone) of making a claim with Adrian Flux?

Also, why do insurance companies always add on breakdown cover without asking if you need it. ****ing ****ers.

I'm with Adrian Flux, I paid £699 including protected NCB (£350 excess) and I'm only 3 months off 25. Fu*k knows what it'll be next year?

I'm surprised they won't protect your NCB?

Incidentally, I declared my Air Filter & Zorst before I took out the policy and it made no difference what so ever.

I don't anyone who's claimed with them.

Wotch out for the Flux.

They ****ed me over today by cancelling my policy. They said they had not received my proposal form (this is the second one I sent). Rather than phoning me they just cancelled. I phoned them and suggested they faxed me the details and I will fax em back, the well trained telephonist explained my policy has already been cancelled and I will have to get a re-fund and open a new one.

I foolishly had paid all my policy up front so I am now chasing them for a refund. And I have decided to go with someone else.

Found a local place in Brentwood sorting out my insurance as I was not covered, cost me £200 more, but if they **** up I can strangle them in person.

I have also had similar crappy service from Firebond.

Wotch out for these internet/mailorder Insurance companies, they can really screw with you.

I've heard the same story before, I've just received my proper documents for Adrian Flux, took the nearly two months though.

I had a bike insurance with them once. It took forever to get a document from them, makes you wonder if they ever hand over your details to the insurer or not ? Until you have a smash maybe ? Makes you wonder eh ???

I'm with Flux again this year. I've not had any problems with them at all, they've always been ok with me. Maybe cos they take so much bloody money off me each year!

I had to claim through them back in January. They were good actually, less than a week to come out and inspect the car and give the go ahead for work.
