I was quoted £631 f/c with protected ncb with ALL my mods declared(see sig). I'm a 32yr old (fart) with clean licence and no accidents. How does this compare to what you lot are paying who are about 30ish?

don't know if this helps but I paid £680(ish) for my 300zx, i'm 34.

that was with churchill, fully loaded, all singing all dancing insurance package. i also have full n.c.d., clean license etc,etc

Mines 650 with hastings direct, 30yrs old 4ncb, no convictions on a 95 s14 with no mods. Cannot get it any cheaper than this, i've tried changing ncb/employment details etc not much difference in price. However mention mods and quote goes up by 100's.

I will now be having a look at admiral!! :)

I'm already with Admiral and when I suggested mods, they feckin laughed. And don't be fooled by Admiral, they run a 10month policy, so for real comparitive prices add 17% to the quote to compare with other companies' 12 month plans - although if you have no ncb, it is a quick method gaining them.

Now I am 25 my insurance has dropped loads. £1300 down to £602 :D

Admiral didn't mind my suspension,wheels and zorst but sense of humour failed when bov was mentioned. I ended up going to Adrian Flux an got quoted £590 with all mods declared. :)

Just tried admiral on line and they were no better than hastings.
What i have found is if you add a woman to your policy it works wonders. My ex is 30 with no convicions and adding her dropped my quote by 60 squid!!

Nice one C2!! I might try that as my lady is 29 so it might be worth a go, she's NO WAY getting in the drivers seat tho :D :D . I got a quote from Adrian Flux that knocked £70 off Admiral and they are fine about all the mods I have. Be careful with Admiral because if you want to add bits to you car later on they may charge you big bucks for it. Ask them first.
