View Full Version : Should I declare adjustable actuator??
I reckon if I stack it, thers no way of proving what the boost was when I stacked it, so I can claim its just a replacement part for my previous broken one
What do you think??

You _should_ declare it anyway, even if you are running lower boost the mod is still there. I have asked before.
Last time I got my insurance I said I planned to do mods soon, can I pay for the mods now and have it std for a while then do the mods in due course. They said no!

Ask yourself... "What's the chance an insurance assessor would spot that?" (Unless it's the ND Blue one!)
You'll probably come to the conclusion I did ;)

Anticipating a failure of my exhaust, at my last insurance renewal I asked my broker about changing my policy to a "non standard" exhaust later in the year.
His recommendation, endorsed by the Insurance company, was to declare it now and fit when necessary.

My guess is that they don't know there arse from elbows. But I suppose we all knew that anyhow.
It does make sense though that the car should be as is insured for whether std or not.
