What's everyone else's opinion on the new Porsche 911 facelift?
Personally I think those headlights are way too much like the new VW Beetle - I much prefer the current generation of lights.
I'm not saying I wouldn't snap one up if the opporunity ever arose - I guess I'm just picky!

Na, its left hand drive and yellow! Not my thing
Much prefer the older one, not too keen on Porsches anyway

Better than the one that's out at the moment, but the nose sticks out too far, imo. Mind, that could just bew the angle at which it was shot/drawn.
I never liked the Boxters lights getting shoved on there in the first place, so taking this one back a generation is a step in the right direction. :)
Like each incarnation of the 911, I expect it'll grow on me in time
I'm with JB on this - I always like the current models so that will grow on me in time.
And I think enough time has passed. :smitten:
Now I'm in a dilemma - DB9 or new 911?
u fool.......
db9 all the way :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
new 997 is what the 996 should have been

:D
Nah gimme the old 993 proper air cooled 911 :smitten: (the last of the decent ones :p :wack: )
I lurve 911s but those lights make it look goggle-eyed like a micra :hurl:
Mmmmmm. DB9 or new 911.
Well, if it was someone elses money I'd go for the DB9. But if it was my own money I'd be looking at keeping the car for many years so I'd go for the 911 and associated build quality.

Not keen on that - probably better in the flesh and not in such a garish colour!
Much prefer the older porsches - driven a K plate 911 twin tubby and it was amazing :smitten:
And DB9 all the way for me - fantastic car

from crail on sat, the daddy
the 997 just seems to look like the natural evolution of the 993 to me, i.e the step that should have been there before the 996.
