Not me, I can’t afford to a race suit this month, so once again it looks as though I’m going to miss D1.

If only option would stop trying to run!

At least come along as a spectator Rob, gotta support team anti-lag.

Well that's if I can go. Finances are tight, but it would make a TOP weekend. I'm going to see Evanescence on the Saturday, then drifting at Silverstone on Sunday. Then back to work. :ghey:

I've thought about coming, but to be honest it's a long way to go just to spectate, and it will only make me :hurl: that I can't afford to be out on track.

I need to try and get the Granada working again, to either seell or use to transport the RX-7 FB about.

I'm going to order a racesuit soon, so there will be no excuses for future events

The race suit is a problem for me, I can definately afford it without the added cost of the suit, but with the suit it just pushes it slightly over the edge. I need to get hold of some tyres, and work out what I'm going to do about wheels, ah bugger. No tyre fitters at Silverstone I suppose!

I get paid on the 21st though, so if I can scrape by until then it should be OK, perhaps.

Need to blag a suit, anybody fancy sharing one on the day? lol

Silverstone's a few days before my pay day and I am offcially broke now  , but will see what I can do so that I can come spectate.

Don't think I could enter though as i doubt they make race suits small enough :wack:

I'm going to go and watch due to not having a car to run at the moment. If anyone wants they can borrow my suit, its one of them fireproof omp ones.

  Ooo yes please!! As long as it's big enough (6ft tall) that'd be bloody fantastic.

Then all I have to worry about is finding a few steelies or something at a scrappy.

I will be there as a spectator again :D
Gonna wait for the practice session in June and then perhaps enter a later round if I dare :wack:

Im missing it I think.

Got the FD back, but have no insurance to get it there.
I also could do without the £200+ cost of competing by the time everything is taken into account.

The logo I designed (with picky bastard Steve Carter :D:D) and CafePress are excellent, they let you put designs on all sorts of stuff. I'm in Washington DC next week so i'll buy the stuff and pick it up in the US. Saving me the postage.

Just a quick note to everyone not coming due to the race suit issue...

I have already posted in another thread that for the rest of this year we will only expect drivers to be in fireproof suits not necessarily race suits.
If you can find a cheap fireproof boiler suit, then that would be ok, the flight suits that were worn at the last event will also be ok as I understand that they are fireproof.. or any other type of fire proof garments.

So please don't use that as an excuse, as it should only be the same cost as the last event really.

Cheers,

But I'll be there, slowly moving up the steep learning curve.
