I have recently purchased a 1990 (H Reg) Standard 1.8 16v Turbo and was able to get Fully Comp, Protected Insurance for £475. Full NCD.

**** that, they quoted me £3200 Third party only with 1 years no claims, before modifications. Also, they 'forgot' to send my NCD through the post when I specifically asked for it after cancelling my exsisting cover. I was previously paying £600 TPO on a 1000cc Mini City.
They did have good cover though - 3rd Party any car and free breakdown assistance.
