View Full Version : MCSE Question
I have donw my MCP and want to do an MCSE, I used Wave Technologies for the MCP course but I have had a bad experience with them, is their any other good training companies in the North West around the Liverpool/Manchester area (I'm near Crewe/Northwich) who do the MCSE exams?
Find a recognised M$ training centre.
They will actually teach you the systems etc, rather than wave tech, who teach you how to pass the exams!
They might be more expensive but its well worth it IMO. If had good experience with ITS FEDA but i think they still only do courses in Reading, Bristol & Edingburgh (sp).
XPertise training, used to be called Xenon, in Atlantic / Pacific Road area of Altrincham.
Pretty good, did most of my MCSE courses and Novell CNE courses there.
Did a Cisco course there recently, and was a little disappointed, but they're still quite good. Local to you as well.
Heard bad things about Wave myself, although to be honest I am not sure if there is much point in doing a MCSE anymore. I don't think it will make a huge difference to either job prospects or salary, despite what they tell you !!!!
If you are doing it purely for your own knowledge, and someone else is paying then go for it
