I know this sounds too good to be true but apparently it`s something to do with Toe knee blair wanting to get everyone on line by 2 thousand and something, my mate who told me had to wait 6 months for his and his mate waited for a year but they got them, no harm in registering, your not going to get one if you don`t, nothing to loose and all that..

Welcome to Metronomy, the revolutionary new concept which provides a FREE IBM HOME PC in exchange for your commitment to watch up to 3 minutes of advertising per hour of use.

Yeah I read about that in the Computeractive Mag. They are concerned with fraud. Think people have been using false names etc to get the PC's so for the moment they have pulled the plug.

You had to agree to watch 3min of adverts for every hour you use the PC........they can tell if you do, and if you dont they will take back the PC

ohh you've changed your name...

this came around a while back. if i had b/b i'd have one, and leave it on all the time just running UD, so the ads can play merrily to themselves
