Well I did try to get some interest up in a midlands based RR day, but got 1 reply.....

If anyone wants to start a midlands weekly/monthly meet...... ?

A regular meet sounds interesting but I would be looking at the Notts/Sheffield area.
There appears to be quite a few people from these areas on the board.
Anybody interested?

Anybody know a good place that is close to the M1 between, say jnct 33 down to 25?
Then we can get all Sheff, Chegy and Notts cars there?

I wouldnt say its a brilliant pub but the Snipe at sutton is only 1 mile off M1 juction 28 and has a reasonable car park.

I'd be interested in a meet, ive in Wolverhampto and became the proud owner of a 91 Red 200 a few weeks ago, never looked at one before then, wish I'd known what I'd been missing.

Did anybody go? I got to the pub about 12.30 and there were no 200's in sight. I came back at 2ish, but still no joy, did I mike a mastake?

I don't know if anyone turned up, it seems a shame to let the initial idea and enthausiasm dissappear. Lets pick up this thread; how about an XMAS car fancy dress ( tinsle on the aerial) comp/meet?

I would still be up for a meet at the snipe (see above) preferably a sunday. Its within easy reach of Derby/Notts/sheffield/rotherham

Is the Snipe a pub? If so then lets go !!! No Messing !!!! Choose friday 7pm onwards or saturday 12pm on... ???
I might even put flashing dust caps on with my aerial tinsel - it is xmas!!!!
