i was driving home last night with all main beams on and for what ever reason i flicked them off

when i went to put the main beams on again (pushing the stalk towards the dash) ALL my lights cut out

however... dipp on its own works ......and main beam works when you flick the stalk towards you..( when you use the main beams to flash someone) :)

seems strange it happened so fast (one min working fine the next very much broken) :D

any ideas lads?

the stalk switch has probably burnt out its contacts. that has a lot to do with 12 volts going through the switch to the lights.. it's the way it's designed.

you need a new main beam switch me friend... they used to eat them for fun on mine.

pop it open and i bet you find the copper contacts have been burnt away and it stinks of fire :wack:
