Anyone know any places we could possibly hold a meet in where we could practice some drifting if we wanted? Open carparks with no security or residence nearby would be ideal. Jeffers s13 and I had a look around the coventry area but couldnt find anywhere suitable :(

It would be nice to find somewhere a bit more out of the way.. It's a bit of a risk wen uv got 1 car driftin on a public rd (not that i ever, never, no, not me, do that mr occifer), but wen u'v got 3 or more, u kind of tend to attract the wrong kind of attention :) but sayin that If u guys fancy it, i might come out an play :)

I agree that mcD might attract too much attention from police. We tried it in Sainsburys carpack in Leicester and got caught..lol.
Are there any good cruises or the like in cov? I dont usually go to them but I just moved here to study and thought it might be worth having a look :D

Suggestion...
If people want to meet up for drifting, then i suggest that we try to do it "legally"...
How about approaching a company/business or whatever, who has a large car park or expanse of tarmac and simply putting the question to them?
"Can we use your land, after hours for 'Advanced driving technique practice'?" Dont call it drifting... :)
Put it to them in a professional way, mentioning that basically you (or your "club") want to put out cones and practice your driving skills. All mess will be cleaned up, no bits will be left lying around or anything... Block off the entrance and put up a sign so that you dont get no idiots gatecrashing and trying to ruin it for everyone... Things like that?
The only reason i cant see them saying yes would be if someone had a bump on there and somehow got injured (cant see how, i mean second gear drifting on a car park isnt that hazourdous). There legalities that could arise might cause problems...
Maybe you could offer them money to use the land? After all, what kind of money are most business's making at 3am? Non... Say a few hundred quid between a bunch of people? Not much when its devided up.
If not, there is a great roundabout when you get off Junction 16 on the M6... Haha. My buddy managed to drift all the way around it 2 times in a row, and you have to fient drift or Manji 2 times because the roundabout is oval...
I also wonder, how would police react to drifting? When you got caught what did they say, Nismo_Jai?
Keep it safe guys.
