on the 1st of feb this year i tw@ted a pothole and knacked 2 tyres and put flat spots on my alloys, the hole was directly after a speed bump and i was only going 15-20 mph at the time and as it was one of them bumps that are square and you have to aim the car to go over them, the hole was unavoidable.
i stopped soon as i did it only to see the tyres with big bleebs in the walls  on the path at the side of the hole there was around 15 to 20 smashed hub caps so it looked like loads of ppl had hit this hole.
i went home grabbed the camera and took some photos then rung the council and got a claim form anyway this morning i got a letter of the councils insurer with a denial of liability.
i rung the insurance company up just now and they are saying that the road was inspected on the 21st of jan and was reported as no defects and as such have forfilled the legal obligations,i could have reached down the phone and strangled the poncy queen i talked to,the smug baztard :smash:
has anyone ever claimed for this sort of thing and got the repairs done?
i need to know what to do next,do solicitors take this sort of thing on no win no fee
