Yeh i'd love a soarer to drift in, theres something about those big 6 cylinder turbos that is just damn cool. I imagine its a bit too expensive for the likes of me though. :(

Start saving :thumbs: or get a second job like me :D . I actually sold it not long after I bought it. Bit gutted as won't get to drive it but I suppose it lets me buy more.

Spec is cool though:

Transplanted 2JZ Supra 3.0litre lump upgraded to HKS kitted to 3.1litre.
T78 kit
Massive F/Mount
5 Speed manual box
HKS F Con V Pro
OS Gieken Twin Plate
etc etc really.

It runs the 1/4's in the 10's and readily breaks 300kmh+ on top speed runs.

Bit too radical for drifting though :eek: :D .

wow, 2jz with a T78 :eek: am i right in thinking that the soarers have the 1jz engine in them normally?

how much did you sell if for, if you dont mind me asking???

SX Drifter. That white one is well slick.

I don't really want to mention how much I have sold this car for. I am presently not a paying trader here so do not want to take the pi55 out of the owners and mods. I only posted it as what I think is a blindin lookin rear wheeler and in a Drift Stylee.

To be quite honest I am not sure that I really want to sell it, and nothing is set in stone re the deal yet so................... :D .

Jason yes the guys put in a Supra 3.0 2JZ and then added the HKS 3.1kit :thumbs: . And no there are plenty more in Japan.

You can get Manual soarers anyway, there just isnt many over here.

Just think it's odd as I'd have thought the 1JZ to be just as good as good a platform.

I think this car is mainly a power house (0-400 and Top Speed), and it seems for peak power, the 2JZGTE is the better engine.. Afterall, it has more displacement, thats why im guessing they swapped in the 2JZ... If the car were a drifter, then id stick with the 1JZ due to the more revvy nature of the engine... And the sound.. :D

But that is one hot Soarer!!! :notworthy
