What cars, apart from the 200SX do you think are good?

Mark 1 MR2 - my one regret that I couldn't afford to keep them both. After buying my 200 I kept the MR2 for 18 months but had to let it go in the end and I hanker after another even now. :(

phoar, without mentioning nissan's skylines & Zs ?

from japaland : evos 'n scoobs for rallyesque four door four wheel goodness - mazda for sportscars (mx5 & rx7 are both excellent).

from euroland: well, erm, it seems bland, but it isn't. :( I suppose there are one or two good mercs and beemers (m3, m5, amg'd/brabus'd mercs, ...) -
audi's rs4,

porkers. (911 turbos, 944!!!! :) 928 submersible!) -

I'm not a major fan of lambos & ferraris myself, and they tend to be well out of the normal price bracket. 944s/911s seem quite a bit more affordable, whether that is true on paper or not, I have more faith in german engineering :D

that said, if someone offered me £10K today to spend on two more cars. It'd go to a rev3 mk2 mr2 turbo and an rx7 fc turbo. They're both unique and excellent cars with light, agile handling, imo - perfectly complementing my s13's ;)

Went for a spin in a friends Evo6 Makkinen this evening :smitten:

But my all time fave is any Holden HSV - 5.7l V8 corvette engines :smitten: :smitten:

We had one in at work today,£7k of AP brakes alone (4 pots on the rear!!) ,huge vortech supercharger and loads of other stuff, bloke driving it said it had been dyno'd at over 600bhp @ the flywheel and by the way he took off up the road I can well believe it 1st,2nd and 3rd was just plumes of tyre smoke and 2 very wide black lines for about 100m :notworthy :notworthy

oh and the noise it made! :smitten: :notworthy :smitten: :notworthy

While I realise that some people are unable to recognise that any other car might be good compared to the 200sx...

Mark, this is because there IS no other car as good as the 200sx!

Ha! Didn't consider that option, did you?! :wack:

PS Just for the record, if I won £4.7m on the Lottery I would still drive my 200. So I'm not talking direct from 'bullshit central'

Honda DC2 Integra Type R :D

WTF is that!?

Is it some looney stripped-out 4 seconds job or somethig?

Had a ride in a Type R once. Absolutely awful ride. Like driving across a quarry with flat tyres and the suspension removed.

Yes, really.....

Ok, before anyone flames me, I know it's not a sport car, but I borrowed a Mini Cooper from work over the weekend and took it down to Devon.

For a small car it doesn't half feel good to drive. It's definitely a weekend toy car, not something I'd ever seriously consider buying, but round those lanes on Dartmoor - fantastic !! It wasn't too bad on the M5, managed to cruise at usual motorway speeds without much effort.

Anything impractical.
Old, unreliable, rusty, impossible to get spares for, maybe even made by someone now defunct - If I've never seen one on the road before then you can pretty much guarantee that I'll love it.

I like cars and feel that you can have fun in pretty much anything
