Didn't see any other posts :o
Been getting them for a few weeks now. Just sort of snapped LOL :wack:
Yeah, its a pain isnt it  Im getting approx 100 emails per day, 95 of em being cr@p
Im using Spamnet (www.spamnet.com) as a plugin for Outlook. Works on a p2p basis somehow, so anyone getting a mail not wanted pushes the block button and some checksum of the mail is being sent to their server so no1 else will ever receive it again.

No Ive had a few of the ones that say they are in Namibia or something and they want to deposit money into you bank account....
Or I get loads of the ones offering you viagra or certain enlarging instruments or such like..... :wack:
Pity there isnt a list you can put your email on like you can do with your telephone number to stop people calling and offering you double glazing lol
Wasn't being picky, just coinidence that a few folk reached the end of thier tether with them at the same time :D
You can be forgiven for not reading one of deathstar's posts anyway :D ;)

I'm seriously getting fed up of callers trying to sell shite to us over the telephone. It normally takes something really special to get me wound up, but these fcukers can get me on a rant in seconds. Had one earlier who took offence when I asked them to to remove our number from the call list! One even woke me up Saturday morning making me get out of bed! Twats!

Get yourself on the telephone preference list - it's an 0870 number - I'll see if I can find it and post it here! After my day of being a :censored: is over though of course.

Depends what word you substitue :censored: for I suppose. And besides, I've only been on here since the end of November so that's only like 5 months - hardly a year. Does it seem longer than 5 months? :wack:

Probably cost 'em a fortune since most of the bastids seem to be calling from India or somewhere these days :D
Just taken another call...
"Hi, I'm calling to ask for someone their opinion on Jeans. I'm looking for someone aged between 15 and 39 to take part"
 :whip: :censored:

Use the link in Morfs post - I did it and don't get troubled by anyone any more. And if do I tell them I am on the preference thing and they hang up.
Wish I could do the same for spam!

cheers Morf, that's cracking mate. been meaning to do that for ages but never found an easy way to do so
As for Spam, I used to get absolutely shitloads so I purchased a product called IHateSpam from here (http://www.sunbelt-software.com/product.cfm?id=930) and I'm sorted :) You can try it free for 30 days, after that it's only like £12 to buy it and I'm perfectly happy to pay that kind of price for software. Give it a go, I was well impressed :)
Also if you find you're getting lots of spams that either have the same stuff in over and over again or are obviously from the same people, you can report them using this link and they do actually stop (well those ones do anyway)
