I need to fit an Air fuel meter... but even 3 wires are a little too complex!!! :) wondering if theres anyone about tommorw eve that could help me connect the last two! i could do the earth! lol! :)

I'm about, but it'll be a bit of a trek for you.

1 to the ECU or the signal wire as it leaves the lambda sensor.
1 to the acc positive feed (fused)
1 to the one you can do.

Do you have the ECU multiplug pinout, or a link to?
I'ts probably the the same as the S13, the GTR's are.

i dont like hacking at the loom near the ECU, the wires are so well packed in, so ive run a wire to the lambda sensor in the engine bay, but im not sure as to the best way of connecting the new wire to the old ones... again they are all wrapped up nice and cosy...

live wires always scae me... and there are about a million multi coloured wires under the dash :wack: and im too scared to randomly start chopping!!! :)

you've to got to solder it matt, but you'll ahve to do it to a wire after the plug that the lambda plugs into. The lambda wires are stainless and impossible to solder, after teh plug they should be copper. Use some heatshrink it insulate it once you've spliced it in but dont forget to put the heatshrink on before you solder it up. :smash:

woo... :) half way there... just wired the electircal bit in the cabin... :) spent some time swearing as it wasnt working... then realised that the live feed i was using was the foglight one... :) so only came on with the lights!!! :rolleyes:

tomorrow will be time to be brave... armed with snips and stanley knife... :D
