Anyone know their Zetec's?

A friend of mine has a Ford Puma with a T25 conversion. It was originally Van Aakens development one.

Anyways, its been running std comression and only 4-5psi boost since he bough it. Unfortunatley it snapped a cambelt and bent many many valves.

Whilst getting rebuilt he opted for a laser cut sandwich plate to decrease the comp ratio and up the boost. Its also getting a charge cooler.

The problem is now the boost is higher, his AVCR is reporting 100% injector duty more often than not :(

What other injectors fit the 1.7 Puma? Apparently the Cossie ones wont because they are low impedence top feed and the puma needs high impedence side feed?

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

At a guess i would say look into Focus RS ones but i'm not certain off the top of my head to be honest. Cant think of any other Ford ones that would be suitable for the power.

I wonder if the St170 ones would be better than the std Puma ones. You would imagine so?

the engine was designed by Yamaha ;)
