I have had some money left to me, its not a huge amount (£2000 and can supliment it with £50 a month or so...) and i want to try and save it...
I asked the bank, and they recomended an ISA, is this the best thing or is there anything else i could do with it???
i dont really want quick access to the stuff, or else ill just blow it on cheap drugs and expensive women :wack:
have you thought about shares?....
Put it on Ebay
Knowing the general class of plebs on there you'll get at least £4000 for it.... :wack:
well chep drugs is a good idea. Then sell em in a different area where they are worth more £.
Disclamer:
Do not buy or sell drugs. It may be illegal and may end up with you in the clink.
take a look at the motley http://www.fool.co.uk/
alternatively, start a business on the side with it.. I have no idea what :D
or invest in property overseas. local property deposits are out of the reach of that money, but a foreign property might manage it.
Now Matt we talked about this yesterday :D

hi mate i would advise halifax 6.05% saver account current the one fo the best if not the best account arround :) or an ISA as it is tax free, which is always nice:thumbs:
could always think about buying loads of US dollars as one pound is worth about 1.85 dollars. It is absolutely certain that the dollar will fall back to its usual rate of 1.5 ish, so you could make a few hundred quid ;)

after looking about, and after an almost badly timed visit to Nemesis ;) me thinks that its gonna be an ISA, not the most productive, but one of the least risky :) cheers for the suggestions :)
(a little has been invested in the car... - HKS circle earth, HKS adjustable cam gears, Lowering springs, Luminention Air/fuel meter, and a few hours in the hands of Ron Kiddel :D )
id defo get dollars if i were you....
or look into zero risk betting using different odds on sporting events you can make 5-10 percent a day.

invest it with me!!
On a serious note, ISA is pretty good; Barclays offer some good schemes also.
