Green S14a Westbound M4

Green S14a with Beige leather. Coming onto M4 from M25 (Jct15) 8ish this morning.

Gonna say that might have been me - but then I remembered I was driving my Green S14a, Biege Vinyl interior onto the M25 at J9 like a ****ing **** this morning. Left the M25 at J10 like a ****ing **** as well http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

I didn't know my interior was beige... Hang on - it can't have been me as my car was up on a ramp at Mr Clutch (top place) at about that time this morning!

Needed new rear pads fairly urgently, as was grinding metal http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/redface.gif

Turns out is was a clip that is part of the pad's anti-squeak machanism, but protudes past the friction material in the area which contacts the disk, so it will grind before the pad runs out of stuff http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/confused.gif

They had to drive my car UNDER their ramps to get it in the workshop! I think the bumper scrapes otherwise http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

Top marks to Mr Clutch, top blokes who even let me have my old pads back so I could prove to my boss I hadn't just been for a sneaky interview!

I had the same prob when I took mine to get new tyres fitted. it would not go up the ramp!

Oh, and the gimp driven S14a was un-modded.
