You should infrom the police, hit and run or failing to stop or summat.
Get his insurance to pay for the damage and have him banned. If you have a incident no from the rozzers and his number plate, make etc your insurance co should follow it up.
I wouldnt let it go espec as he sounds dangerous on the road

As nobody was hurt, I'd be amazed if the police were even slightly interested.

But I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong.

and where were you when this happened JB
also why's there a dent in your rover ?

:p :D :wack:

well, he certainly sounds like a menace on the roads, certainly the type of person i hate to see behind a wheel, and unfortunately as JB said, the police probably wont bat an eyelid :(
worth giving it a try i suppose, but with it being a pivate car park i assume, nothing will become of it imo. had it been a road it would have been different :(
tho if you have witneses it might be a different kettle of fish

Bet it makes you feel even better to know that insurance companies feel that young drivers like myself are the menace... after all, my hachi could grow a turret on the top and blow your car up

Give the rozzers a call, but as JB said, they probably don't wanna know, hell, they will probably ban you for owning a car... then lock you up.... and throw banana peel at you because clearly people with decent cars who appreciate them are the REAL criminals in our society....

Did you have any witnesses? would you regognise the old cogder
again?
Sounds like leaving the scene of an accident, at very least failing to provide details and criminal damage, if the police don't persue it get in touch with citizens advice and raise an action against the other driver

The police WILL chase it up... It is an offence to leave the scene of an accident without providing details... Call them up and you will have to go and make a statement... Take them any pics of your car and all your details inc witness statements etc... They will go round to his house and ensure that he owns the car etc then you will have thier name and address to get the insurance company on the case... The police will probably not follow up the accident though..

When you do go to the police station make sure that you take all your papers (licence, insurance, MoT, etc) as you'll only have to go home to get them.

Aye, a codger did the same to my Mum - even the horn bit was the same.

One of the witnesses watched old matey drive further up the road, hit 2 more cars, then park on a dubble yeller and wander into the docs to get his medication

Gave the details to the law and they stripped his license a week later. Doesnt change the fact that if it was me dad on his bike he hit rather than Mum in a car, it could all have been different

And they say youths in powerful cars are dangerous
