Computer disaster !

OK, a touch melodramatic.

I have managed to delete Nero (among various other programs) accidentally and housemates are squealing loudly.

Is there a free CD writer/mp3 to audio CD format transforming program that is easy to use ?
Have looked around but am currently confused as to what is free and what 2X speed actually means.

4x ~ 20mins for a CD, 8x ~10mins, 16x ~5mins. You get the picture?
Dunno about free software though. I only ever used cdrwin & nero.

easy tiger if your using windows me or xp go to start/accessories /system tools /system resore and as long as you havent written data over the place where it lived it will all be back as soon as done just go back to before you deleted it

Oops, never said thanks to Mellon for sorting me out with this.

Had trial Digiguide and uninstalled it when trial expired. The uninstallation took out Nero and pretty much every other useful program I've got.

Started another digiguide trial this week. I might even pay and keep it this time.
