Puzzle

OK guys and gals. The son of a colleague at work has a puzzle to solve. We think it's a mnemonic of some sort, and the only clue is it's TV related.

_ (this one is unknown and completes it)

He's only 12 and us grown men can't work it out, so lets see what the combined brainpower of SXOC can come up with :D

OK, My colleague worked it out last night :D No wonder 12 yr old kids couldn't though. It is................
