Retail on that bike would be about £3500 as it is I'd guess. My last DH bike (http://www.raceshoot.com/222/side_on2.jpg) retailed at over £5k, but I had a friend in the industry so "only" paid about £4k :p

I sold that one for £1800 on ebay, am well chuffed with this bargain I've just picked up.

Been Racing long?
I used to Race XC "Back in the Day" but know quite a few of the Top DH Riders.

Yeah I race quite a bit - still not very good though!

Highest ever result was a 6th at an Aston Hill race (out of 45) but I'm most proud of the NPS in 2002 at Garway where I finished within a pretty respectable percentage of the fastest rider - I was fookin on it that day :D

I hade one of those GTs and snaped the rear swing arm and couldnt get a replacement because GT had gone bust at the time.I sold the rest on a year later for £300.I now ride a Specialized which is awsome.

I race in senior, like I say I'm quite average :)

Well I doubt she reads the SX site - that would be a freakishly small world if she did ;)

Thing is there's only about 10 girls who race DH in the country, so you tend to get to know them all. That said I've not spoken to Lucy much, not seen her at many races.

yeah i haven't seen her in ages, she's kinda disappeared off the face of the earth, not sure if she's given up racing or not tho. shame, coz she was good for a girl. :( and broke enough of my bits in the process :smash:
