I have a set of JBL 6 x 9's from my old car, but I looked under the trim panel of the rear shelf on my 2hundry & saw there is no room for these monstaz without some serious metal removal! I just can't bring myself 2 cut holes in my 200!!

does anyone know of a way 2 fit 6 x 9's in without cutting the car to bits?

Otherwise it's gonna have 2 be a set of infinity's all round & turning the small boot into a bass enclosure..!:)

Go for circular speakers and fit a sub, the quality is better

Sorry to all those selling bits, but ant's right.

Speakers in the back are for "rear fill" only, they're for your back seat passengers. Anything telse is a waste.

Get yourself a decent set of component speakers up front and fit a sub in the boot. Run the whole thing off a decent 4 channel amp (2 up front and 2 bridged for the sub) and you're laughing. It will sound much better than 6 x 9's

thanx 4 the advice all! Much appreciated.

Iv'e ordered a set of Infinity 652is front & back (they should fit perfectly) , & was thinking of getting a Kenwood Kac959 to drive these, unless anyone can recommend a better amp (this K'wood is a 5 channel, but I only need 4 as I already have a Kenwood 300w amp driving a 12" bass driver in encl from my old car).

If I use a 5 ch amp on only 4 channels, is there a power benefit to the 4 channels or do i just lose out on the unused 5th channel? Anyone got any ideaz?

Alternatively does anyone know of a decent amp to run 4 x 652is (speakers are 60w rms/180 w peak) for less than 200 squid?!

Does anyone want to buy the JBL 6 x 9s from me? (not likely after this discussion!):)
