Thanks again to Rice Burner for the fuel pump, and I also met a few faces I hadn't put names to before.
Sorry I couldn't stay long but I was relying on a lift to get there and back, and my mate was keen to get back on the road in his Noble as he had only just picked it up that morning.
Feck, that Noble is a very fast car :) :) Apparently Evo list it as 3.8 secs to 60....
I was there but wasn't at my most lively or sociable, by far :(

I had a great time. Had to wimp out at 9:30 when I started to lose feeling in my hands though! Looking forward to the summer months. Had my first ride in the passenger seat of a ***** - after 2 1/2 years of ownership.
Thanks to all who offered advice too - I think the guy I went out for a spin with was Jon (or might have been Papa Lazarou?!?), but I'm cr@p with names, especially when everyone has a real name and a BB name!
One thing thouigh, as I was leaving the car park I was driving slowly and this woman with a pushchair ran across the road about 20 yards in front of me. So I stopped and let her cross, but she started screaming abuse (at me I think). I could still hear her as I went off down to the roundabaout. I'm not sure why she was so upset, I was in first gear so the car was probably making a bit of noise but like I say I was going very slowly. She seemed to be rather drunk too but that might have just been the way she was yelling.
I'd like to apologise if I upset her but I really didn't think I was doing anything wrong or out of the ordinary.
Papa was there? :confused:
