How does the stereo come out of an S14a, i've tried with the key thing down the side but dont come out. Its the sony one BTW.
Also how does the flap etc come out that is below the stereo.

Dave,
You have to remove the plastic round the gearstick and the heater.
These just pull off with a little persuasion.
The surround round the stereo/ashtray has to be unscrewed at the bottom and top (4 screws)
After these have been taken out it will slide out and the stereo has 4 screws holding it in.
Hope this helps.
watch that the cage does not scratch the plastic of the dash.

I have same problem did that work? Can't get the thing out and just snapped the surround :mad:
So I have to remove half the interior to remove the stereo, is that what the other
posts mean? :eek: :eek:
