For JB,
Anything by the Nolans, Black Lace, Orville etc etc
For the rest of us,
anything by massive attack, soul 11 soul, and for individual track Albatross - Fleetwood mac, :indiff:
Ill put one of these here to save JB the trouble:indiff:
Someone's recently given me 3 CD's of mixes by Krafty Kutts (s.p) which are just fab...funky dance stuff and fantastic feel good tunes.
One album I won't be playing in my little Roxy over the summer...Results May Vary by Limp Bizkit (picture the scene, driving through Pooley Bridge in the lakes on Sunday, top down stopped to let some people cross and on pops 'Show me the mic' - I think it's called - followed by a very load outburst of "show me the mic mother f*cker") :wack:
Summer song by Joe Satriani ;)

What's going on - Marvin Gaye,
Buena Vista Social Club (or any of the subsequent solo albums)
Tribe Called Quest - Anthology
RHCP - Mother's Milk
Anything by:
Abraham, Astrud Gilberto, Emiliana Torrini, De La Soul, Fun Loving Criminals, LTJ Bukem, Stevie Wonder (pre 1985), Morcheeba, Prince, Turin Brakes, Bob & The Wailers etc...
However, Summer Breeze by the Isley Brothers is the ultimate summer tune. I challenge anyone to listen to that fuzzbox guitar at the start of that track without being transported to some sunny paradise.

The Talk Talk original is good but it seems too slow but I think that it's because it's a guy singing and his voice is all smoochy and :ghey:. Much prefer the No Doubt version even though the tempo's much the same, it sounds more lively and gives it a bit of oomph :D
