To Tenman for taking on the job of changing my turbo gaskets; to Wacomuk who just turned up to visit a mate and then spent several hours under my car; to Silviagod for letting us use his place (and tools and knowledge and technical know how) and to Mrs Silviagod for the millions of brews she made.

Everything seems to be fine and I really can't thank any of you enough. :notworthy :notworthy :notworthy

I'll try and post the "I've been to see god" pics tomorrow.

The SXOC =

I don't know whether I got poor Aitch's face on the pic during the EGR removal but his 1.00am expression was also a picture:D

We finished at about 1.30 am, after starting the job shortly after midday. :(

Snapped exhaust stud was not a problem - the other two held it just fine. The snapped manifold stud will be sorted when I get back from Canada. The manifold isn't blowing and I'm not driving any real distance before I go away so it should be fine.

The oil feed pipe was struggled with for a very long time until Silviagod appeared and just popped it straight on in a matter of minutes :notworthy

My face was quite a glum picture for most of the day because things didn't go as smoothly as I (or Tenman) had hoped :(

And my face looked a bit like this--> when it came to the EGR removal.

Even though I wasn't my usual chatty self and had a mouth that looked like god had put it on upside down for most of the day, I actually really enjoyed myself and learned a hell of a lot and now feel less of a technical pleb than before. Once again thanks to all concerned.
