Yeah, tradition for me as well. Coultard is a tit, glad he's not getting his contract renewed and TBH - I don't know which team will be stupid enough to sign him.

I'm looking forward to hearing James Allen again :indiff:

From Sniffpetrol

ALLEN HAS SEASON'S WORTH OF TWATTISH NEW THINGS TO SAY

You'd never get bored of punching him, would you?
There was dismay amongst British F1 fans this week with the news that irksome commentary blight James Allen has already prepared enough twattish things to say during a race to last him for the entire season. Following a typically annoying 2003 season there were hopes that the weak-voiced turd might start the '04 championship ill-prepared to spout his usual combination of tedious stats, banal speculation and shity soundbites of such feeble thought and execution that the average motorracing fan is rendered puce with rage and frustration. Sadly this is not the case. Spies within ITV's F1 headquarters say the chubby faced tit has in fact spent much of the winter swatting up and is poised to be even more mind crushingly tedious over the coming races.
'This is certainly a shame,' noted Maurice Ital of F1 magazine Every Other Sunday. 'I was rather hoping that ITV would have actually seized the chance to replace him. Instead we have to bear another season of listening to an aggravating dullard taking what amounts to an extended w@nk over the beautiful face of the sport I love'

WHats the chances of coultard doing shit in qualifying, getting a great start then duffing it at some point during the race, then wineing about it afterwards blaming everyone but himself.
I think he's a bit schizophrenic he always refers to himself as we.:D He makes me embarrassed to be Scottish sometimes.

Do you guys all saying your staying up realise that there are 2 back to back sessions for qually this year and ITV are showing them both.

Prog at 2.25, 1st qually probably for about an hour, then a small break before they run for the final grid positions means its not going to be sorted untill about 5am which is when the prog ends.

Im just gonna get up about 3.45 and work out whats going on I think!

From f1.racing-live.com ....

Weather sources are forecasting rain for qualifying at Albert Park.

Cloudy skies saw Michael Schumacher lead the pace in opening (Friday) practice and the sources maintain that rain should stay-away from Australia all day.

Saturday, however, looks like being a different story altogether.

75 PERCENT CHANCE

Sources close to one team predicts a 75 percent chance of rain in qualifying, including a top of 21-degrees, ahead of a mostly clear Sunday and 19-degrees.

Looks like it could be well worth staying up for :D

Oh sh!t - I've just noticed it's on till 4.50am as well. I only thought it was on for an hour. :annoyed:

I bloody hope my insomnia doesn't decide to cure itself tonight. I don't think I've had more than five hours kip on any one night this week so it's got to catch up with me sometime. :(

But they only get one lap don't they? I just watched it and he was last to go out on track so can't have been fastest at any point? Obviously I'm missing something, have they changed the rules - do they get multiple Q laps?
