Im a total novice at drifting but would love to learn.

I used to practise loads in my S13 (on my own private airfield behind picadilly train station in Manchester) but my S13 was far from standard.

Last night I got a totaly standard S14a :D :D (98 Touring in BLACK) I want to come to the drift practice day. Im not gonna get time or cash to modd it before the drift day

DO you think the car will be OK ? Or is it kind of pointless coming ?

Are there gonna be any other novice drifters there ? I dont want to be shown up by the antics of Phatty :notworthy

I thought Id ask before I stuck my name on the list

Sorry what does midge standard mean ?

Its 100% standard. Was driven round by an old man with a private plate on.And it has every stamp in the service book. Cars been no where but a Nissan dealer for parts/service etc

Its looking highly likely that i'm going to end up using my standard s14a for the first couple of practices this year as well, so it will be cool that there are others. I do want an s13 for drift days really as i don't want to do a load of damage to my daily driver, but the lure of drifting is more than the fear of killing my car.

I'll be giving it a go next year and am a complete noob to drifting too but it should be a laugh. Ive been looking to practice before hand but cant find anywhere safe and legal to have a go unfortunately.
