dunno if one of you guys can answer this, i know there are a few peeps about with a bumw as a second car but here goes

me brother in law has an E reg 320i, the seats in which are getting a tad tired and look :ghey: anyway

what he would like is to swap them for leather seats off a scrapper

would there be any problem in say finding a dead M3 or other model b*w and transplanting the seats?

anyone know if the subframes are the same for the front across the whole 3series range or even all b*w's (except 4x4's and weird ones)

i think the rear seats might be complicated, was leather a common upgrade on the 320i or is there a unit that the rears would fit from?

altho he just wants the fronts changed i say that that would look uber:ghey: and you wont necessarily save money doing it like that anyhoo

ta in advance

Get the seats from an E30 325i Sport - the later ones are Recaros and have lots of adjustable bits on them (the bit under your knees actually moves backwards and forwards!) :D

The seats from any E30 should fit though, so just go out and see what you can find! :)

Yep, all E30 seat mounts are the same.
Sports interiors go for silly money (£150+, more for leather) been looking for ages and gave up.
