Drifting at Donnington Park legal cruise [Archive]

There is a legal cruise going on at Donnnington Park on Saturday 20th December. I went to the last one and met up with Phatty and Ade etc as they were allowiung drifting on the hairpin for free.

Anybody going to come down this time and have a go. Its a good chance to do some drifting without worrying about cones and its free! Just £5 to get in.

Are you coming to this one Phatty?

I'm waiting on confirmation that they will be using the same area as last time, as theres a big question mark about it. then if I decide to go I've gotta find a clutch from somewhere :rolleyes:

It went on November the 6th (I think) and its just sat on the drive since, but it wont move at all so need help towing it to a garage as well :(

If your after a cheap clutch quick mate - i've got a full LUK one that has only done a few hundred miles (i.e it's like brand new) I can do it for £50 . . . 3 piece kit. :thumbs:

DOH looks like I'm gonna be struggling to make this now :cry:

Car should of gone in for a new clutch today, but I'm still waiting at work for the Jeep to come back to tow it in with, which was promised to be with me at 11am, so not very happy :rant:

Just spoke to the garage and now he says he cant fit it in till Saturday, but doesn't know whether he will have time to get out before the weekend :(

Oh and i think i upset this twat... LOL!!!

He saw me taking this pic of his bonnet and was telling me how he made it from a standard escort bonnet, with a different subframe and loads of plate steel... Then (He must have thought i gave a fcuk LOL) opened the bonnet and told me to feel the weight... Then he told me that he was struggling now to get it to wheelspin... It turned out to be a good night. Most amusing point was deffo James in AE86 Doughnutting in main exhibition hall where show and shine was, organisers didnt seem too impressed! And thanks to ade for letting me sit in passenger seat most of the night! Hope you get your exhaust sorted soon mate!

great day, my drifting was shockingly bad, but it was a cruise so started doing donuts and burnouts :wack: pmsl :wack: aparently I got the biggest flame of the day, according to mitto it was 12foot long :eek:

was Ade there? I saw some bloke who'd superglued a phone to his head for the evening, was that him?? I dunno, bloody women :rolleyes: ;) :D

Dont think he did much damage... Those big chunky rubber thingys saved him... his car is a tarmac spec racer and the tyres are useless on anything but tarmac... :no:

His mussis if swedish so he is over there for xmas and new year... Will find out the extent of the damage then...

Jeff is a great lad and hopefully we will get him on a couple of drift days... Think he is looking into racing professionally...

Oh and he is also starting a business selling and producing CF and Kevlar body panels... Nice prices too... I will keep yas posted...

Anyways all who're reading. I've been off this forum for ages...mainly due to lack of SX ownership. But...I bought another one yesterday. L Reg S13 in very nice condition. Bright white, without sunroof. Pucka car. Got it with a blown engine but have replacement being worked on at moment. Should be on the road in a few weeks. Then either keeping as my drift car and selling AE86 or selling S13 to spend some TLC on my hachi!

Hope y'all are doin okay....Paz/Ade....whats with the signatures? Where's my biach?

In case anyone here wants to buy a new car here's the 2 potentially for sale!

1) AE86 with supercharged engine, Cusco 2 way, Leda susp. Cage £3500 (black)
2) '93 L Reg S13 with re-con engine £2000 (white and immaculate)
