Does anyone have a clue what the V6 75's are like for drifting in?
Theyre Rear wheel drive with LSD etc and nice v6 engine up front.

they'll probably be okay in the same way that an old BMW would be, but I would have thought u'll really struggle when u want to modify it , also it's gonna be hard to find parts to fix it if it goes wrong/u crash it.. I'm always up for people doing things differently though :)

Once again theyre a cheap car to buy so crashing/modding them aint a problem
PLus the engine is shared through a rnage of cars so parts for the engine aint a problem either.
Ive found one that has the martini rally stickers etc all over it, thats bound to make it worth less :smash:
Hopefully shes still for sale
Used to own 2 of those 75 2.0TS for one yr, these car's gearbox located at the rear, quite easy to loss rear traction compared to S13, as S13 tends to be on the understeer side. get the Veloce one, Cos it come with LSD as std.
all 3.0 come with LSD i think.
up side,
cheap,
revvy engine. (for a 87 car)
150 bhp
good F-R weight balance 52/48 something.
I still managed to sell the veloce bodykit to canada for £350.
Brembo two pot front brakes as std.
good spec, (thats if everything is working...)
Down sides are,
1. CHuNCChhyy 2nd gear. (changing down).
2. RUst everywhere, wheel arches, rust through under the boot, bulk head etc. makes u wonder where the MOT came from.
3. rear discs located close to the diff rather then at the wheel. Hence, when the rear tyre blew up on motorway, the steel reinforcement of the tyre will wrap around and damages the rear CV joint. ( it happened to me).
4. blower wouldnt blow, window wouldnt open, locks wouldnt lock  etc.
5. insurance is GP 15 (2.0TS)

Drove some around Silverstone on a promotional day when they gave away the last V6 model imported, not to me unfortunately.
TS was nicely balanced, had my first drift in the V6. Great fun car.
Seemed really powerful at the time, I was driving a 1300 Mk II
Golf and a GTS MkII Scirroco then though.

I really like the look of the 75s especially lowered Veloce jobs but when I checked out the insurance it was ridiculous, a grand 3rd party compared to £500 for the S13...
