Airbags

Just wondered out of interest what people do about their airbags at drift days? I have this fear that i'll end up in a gravel trap with all my air bags going off! Do you have to disable them or will they not go off unless you hit a wall or something?

I don't know of anyone who disables their airbags but some people (myself included although not for a while now) take the fuse out to turn the ABS off when drifting as the ABS can get totally confused with the different wheel speeds and sideways action and especially when sliding backwards can increase stopping distances by quite a lot.
