When drifting where do your tyres wear?

Mine tend to wear on the inside and outside edges mainly, with the tyre centre being ont about 1/3 worn as the sides. which makes me think a higher tyre pressure is needed.

What pressure do you run to stop this problem? or do i just have to put up with it?

I currently run 33psi all rounf with 225, 45 ,17 tyres.

Cheers

I think some people run higher pressures as it helps drift.

Correct me if wrong by some people run 40+!?

if ur getting outside and inside wear, u need to pump up ur tyres a little more..

With a drift setup (moderate camber rear, lots of camber front) ur rear tyres will wear on the inside slightly more, and ur front tyres should wear relativly evenly.. On standardish suspension, u'll tend to relativly even wear on the rear and really excessive outer wear on the front tyres.

I know they need a bit more air, but i was after a rough idea.

Experementing with tyre wear aint cheap!!!!!!!!

How much? 3psi more? 5? 10?

Any ideas for a starting point?

if u reckon ur left with around 1/3 more tread in the middle of the tyre, and that's with them inflated to 32, I'd inflate them to between 35 and 38 for a drift day :) it's not a good idea to drive day to day at that pressure though ;)
