Another job question

Again I don't have my contract to hand - what happens to me if I walk out and don't work my notice period? I appreciate this is probably a very stupid idea, I just want to know what the consequences are.

I did something like this, just went into the office one evening and left my resignation on my managers desk saying because of personal reasons I couldnt work my notice and If they insisted I did work my notice I would have to sign off sick for a month and it would cost them a months sicks pay. They let me walk:thumbs:

Edit. Always give them an option or two, neither of which they can refuse:D

Hmm, just got an email back from this client that I was just really narky to - and rather than landing me in the shit actually seems to have taken on some of what I said and is being almost reasonable :O

Sometimes attack is the best form of defence. If you were a little "in yer face" with him and he knew he was being OTT then maybe your "narky e-mail" made him realise this. Most ppl are ok but can step over the line, but are sometimes just as easily pushed back to right side of it.
