.... are a pain in the ar$e when you know nothing about cars at all :(

After now driving for about 2 days.... erm... constantly :) these problems which I never thought were an issue, now are :(

Rear Window De-Mister... nackered
Brakes need sorting (plus braided cables... they are essential, honest)
EXHAUST!!!!, Oh my god, I daren't drive any more, the rust hole is so bad. It's so embarrising, I feel like a right barry boy
Dashboard Lights - Erratically switch off so I can't see what speed I am doing... GAH!!!!

plus, also I need to get more confidence... anyone know where I can buy it? :(

Sorry, I needed to rant, as my g/f is giving me grief as I can't drive her to work as it's dark and I have 2 gatso's on the way. Am I being silly?

Do you have a dashlight dimmer? could be that messing with the lights, give it a fiddle.Exhaust putty and a bandage will shut the exhaust up for now.

I do have a dimmer, the thing seems to work fine when I start it up but after a random amount of time driving it just stops working, I then have to turn the lights off then on again to get them to work :(

Sadly the zaust is well beyond putty.... me tanj and skip tried that and it just blew it off within minutes... it's about 4" across :(

go to halfords, get some chemical metal, then get a thin plyable sheet of alumium or steel, bend it so its kinda the shape you want, keep it in place with a jck or stack of wood, apply chemical metal and lt set, and that should get you by for a while, my mates fiesta is still a-ok and its been on for over a month :)

confidence will come with practice and experience young grasshopper :)

sorry about the whingy post guys, I was just feeling down because I was very unsure about my driving.... however thanks to Burger King I feel a lot better now :)

I was so hungry I thought "Bugger this" and forced my self to drive all the way to a burger king which meant going a route that scares me to death... I drove past 2 police cars and one gatso, no worries... and I feel really good now... plus I have fixed the demister and the lights inside :D

Now for my Bacon and Cheese :P

Cheers guys for helping me :)
