For those of you that have adjustable suspension bits, what do you have it all set as? Spring rate, shocks, toe, camber, castor, etc?

Cheers

Haven't got all the bits to set the car up exactly how I want yet, but I'm running

Front ride height -70mm
Rear ride height -55mm
Front damping 6 out of 16
Rear damping 5 out of 16
Front Spring rate 6kg
Rear Spring rate 5kg (I think)
Front ARB stiffest
Rear ARB stiffest
Front camber -4
Rear camber approx -3 (standard upper arms)
Front toe 1mm in
Rear toe 1mm in
front and rear castor standard

What I want to try when I get the kit is

Front ride height -90mm
Rear ride height -70mm
Front spring rate 6kg (unless I just use it on track then 9kg)
Rear spring rate 5kg (unless I just use it on track then 8kg)
Front damping 6 out of 16
Rear damping 5 out of 16
Front ARB stiffest
Rear ARB stiffest
Front camber -5
Rear camber approx -2 or 2.5
Front toe 0 or 1mm out
Rear toe 0
front castor as much as poss

Is -5 camber a good idea (for non drift use)? Surely the braking performance would be a bit dodgy?

again that would only be if I get another car for day to day use, it'd be pretty dangerous on the road, u'd have to lower the pressure in ur tyres quite alot to get full contact on the road..

-5 Deg. camber seems a bit much, but if its on the second car then thats ideal cus you could just play and feel out the settings to see how it works. Does sounds kinda high tho? Been looking into caster recently, i think im gonna try to add some soon and see how it feels (plus it'll stop my tyres hitting my inner arches as much).

I could go into the rest of my setup and plans, but its not really of any use to anyone else so... meh? lol

by the looks of ur sig u've gotta be runnig close to 5 haven't u m8?? and Adeys already running 4.5 I think.. I'm sure peeps would be interested to hear ur setup, it's not gonna be exactly suitable for an sx, but it's interesting to compare :)

Im only running 3 degrees oni-cam ( :D ) up front, and ade is running -3.5 degrees on his up front... I plan on running -4 eventually but at the moment, judging by my tyre wear i dont need it yet.. Must drive harder!

Fronts are TRD Coilovers on 3 of 8
6.8kg/mm springs
Rears are Tokico Illumina's on 5 of 5
Unknown spring rate (cus i cut em :D ), but they are stiffer than prior to the cut so thats nice (single rate, not progressive)
Stock Front ARB
TRD Technocraft Rear ARB
Front Camber - 3 Degrees using Cusco Pillow Ball Uppers
Rear Camber 0 Degrees, solid axle so no adjustment
Front Toe.. Dunno how much, but there is a fair amount! Needs calming off a touch really, closer to 0 but ill do it after ive done the Caster.
Rear Toe again, solid axle so no adjustment

The next mods i plan on doing are to spring rates. I want 6kg/mm front and rear using TRD TechnoCraft rear springs (my favourite D1 driver, Hiroshi Takahashi recomended them to me.. So im not one to argue!) and some new Rear Struts (TRD Blues or Tokico HTS). I also want the option of more camber up front so im gonna either get some more Roll Centre Adjusters, but Adjustable versions or some new adjustable Lower Arms..

RCA's are somthing that Nissans dont need. SW20 MR2's however, do, yet no one makes any for them in the UK!!!!!! RCA's are awesome for killing understeer that comes from a lowered car and incorect lower arm geometry...

Anyways, thats pretty much it..
