Sorry guys, I've already got something else on that weekend. Shame really, I'd go otherwise. I quite fancy bashing my clutch in once and for all - like I can afford a new one ! I can hear the soft voice now "and why would you like to extend you overdraft mr marshall ?"

Hope you have a great time at Santa Pod
I have a 200 free 3 weeks (groan) taking the company FWD motor to sunny Spain. Did it last year in the 200 it was a blast ( literally!!!) blew the turbo to pieces and being the muppet I was then bought a new one from Nissan ( hangs head in shame) £1000 ouch!!

Spoke to Matt tonight he has some disaster recovery plans, in case of the dreaded rain. I will let him explain. chears geof have a good time mate, actuator on the way when you get home. paul will see you 2morrow for a peak at your new inventions (bloody inspecter gadget) stage2 and a RR tune on thursday and lecy fans in time for the pod should help me win Mats £10 for him, cmon Mat a tenner? is that all Im worth to you baby?
also keep tuned for my series on how to squirt water at your intercooler (in the misguided conseption of more power) and end up with eeer a pool of water under the car. Paul what was that site you use for the pics?

Hello peeps!
Well, as the big man has kindly pointed out, it's that time again.
Give it hell for leather down a strip of tarmac an'all that!
Two things. This time, Nathan use your frigging TC. Matt (errr me I believe) try not to take on so many bloody "top-fuellers" and save myself a little bit of embarrasement!
My mate tells me he has a great photo of my second run from last time. Me, on the line next to the General Lees big bad brother, no less.
Next shot, me, just launching off the line, but Mr Bigs already halfway down the strip!
I mean, I ask ya - is that really fairplay?

Anyway - as Nat was saying. Heaven forbidd, but you never know - it may RAIN! ahhhhhhhhh NO!!!
If it does - its a bit like cricket really - the rain stops play (no runs I'm afraid, but thanx for the tenner anyway). So, I thought it may be a good idea that we have a back-up plan, just in case. Last time me and Steve went to Boxhill and Brighton got called off, we went to a pub with Dave and Keith (cant remember the other guys name though, sorry Dave) and had a 3 hour chat, something to drink and something to eat (well I did anyway, hehe!)
Just thought we could do a similar thing if the heavens opened on Sunday. Can anyone recommend anywhere fairly local to SP?
Much appreciated.
The other thing that Nats going on about is a bet with a amate of mine whos got a 300 bhp cossie Escort.
£10 says a 200sx can beat his time. He probably wont turn up though - saving face no doubt!
He wanted it to be £15 says I beat him! Thought about it for 2 seconds and then I negotiated the above deal, knowing Nat was going and I reckon its gonna be close (if you remember the TC that is mate - sinnyspinny!)

Anyway, that about wraps it up.
Nat - dont blow your engine up before Sunday either!

Matt
1 hours sleep last night says I need matchsticks now!

Where is everyone meeting up.
Nat,

what time r u shifting from Hemel.

Me and my other mate Steve could meet up with you along the way.

Were coming from Enfield (M25, J25) so it only 15mins or so away from u.

Anyone one else from this area. Just though it would be good to all cruise/burn down there

By the way, I found out that another Nissan site/ club will be at SP.........

Nat, Paul, Matt. What time all u guys shifting to SP?
Getting a RR Tune (first one ever) Have had a power run b4 but not had a tune up since the FMIC and Group A FP and Induction Mods.
Looking forward 2 it. If I've anything over 235 I'll be well huffed, considering my turbo is standard

Anyone using NGK BCPR8ES? I'm current using the 7's but the guys at Power Engineering recommended the 8's @ 15psi

Bloody hell, it looks like going to Santa Pod tommorow is going to be a waste of time, in fact if it keeps raining like it is know you'll be able to run a power boat up the strip. Did anyone have any ideas for an alternative day out? I think Matt's Idea is a good one of just meeting up somewhere.
Suggestions anyone?

Sundays cancelled for me, I had to work so I couldn't get the car tuned or fit the new wheel studs http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif

My car runs like a sack of 5h1te since the SE chip, it hesitates and full boost now comes in at nearly 4000rpm instead of 3000rpm like it used to.

NOT HAPPY

Well at least you're not all at work!!!
I'm stuck in the orafice, mildly damp from being soaked earlier and I was supposed to pick up my new car today but had to work instead!
Still it's probably just as well, I'd have only thrown it into a hedge at the first sign of a wet bend!
Anyway, I'm only here untill about ten o'bloodyclock! and I'm picking up the new motor tomorrow.

Have fun whatever you do.

Oh well, fingers, toes, hands, feet, legs, eyes, b*llocks(?) crossed I'll wake up nd the sun'll be beaming. Then I'll be pissed that my cars still dirty and that there's gonna be a cue to get on the strip!

The sun shone, I had more free beer than I could handle and the women were all running around in the nudy. OK I'm twisting the truth somewhat but we had a good time. total turn out, steve, matt, taff and me, ya puffs where were you all? I didnt run becuase I have bottem end problems, taff didnt run because err well he forgot to bring his car. So it was left to the intrepid duo steve and matt to fly the flag for the sx brigade. And what a job they did, I have video footage to prove it. steve the speed deamon we couldnt keep him off and matt who again drew up against some 1000bhp supercharged monster (oh how we laughed) to his credit Matt saw off some american supercharged thing bye a huge gap later on, (just been watching it again, well done mate). steve pulled the fastest time of the day some 13.77 (I think) 1/4 mile very Fking good against a suprised cossie owner, tee hee. I was realy pissed that I couldnt take a run, engine rebuild forged pistons and 25psi on its way and full throttle at the next meet I think (oh and traction control http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/wink.gif)

YEAH BABY, YEAH!!!!

My first ever go. Bloody fantastic stuff. Every one should have a go. Got there at 10.45 and had 2 runs before any one else turned up.
Paul youre gonna be gutted. After last months RWYB where you had to queue for an hour before a run, today you could have a run, turn round and be running again within 5 mins.

I ended up having 18 runs. Cossies, Civics, BMWs, Mitsi GTOs and Matt (hee hee, about 8 times http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif) where dispatched by ME!
Very suprising what you can keep up with. I would have thought the GTO would have killed me, but no.
Even had a go with a R34 Skyline. Errrrmm, suprise, suprise, it beat me. But only by 1.174 secs. Its speed was bloody impressive though, 116mph compared to my 103mph.

Talk about slippery though, big power cars were still spinning through 3rd and 4th gears. Me and Matt had a bit of a moment. It had just started drizzling when we were up for a run. We shoot off, spinning first and second as normal, bang it in third and its still spinning. Both of us fishtailing up the strip at 70mph. We both came off the gas coz the cars were all over the place and getting a bit bleeding scary. The track was shut after that until the rain stopped.

I'll stop waffling now but it was such a buzz. Whos up for the next one?

Oh yeah, nearly forgot. My best time was 13.772 @ 103.92mph. Best top speed was 104.76mph @ 14.026secs.

Chuffed.

OK OK OK OK OK OK AND FINALLY OK!
MR CARTER WILL YOU KINDLY LEAVE IT ALONE. YOU BEAT ME AND I KNOW IT - NOW JUST SHUT IT WILL YA?!
Great day out - but where oh where was the rest of the clan? At this rate, me and Steve will have blown up a couple of engines trying to get into the 12s before some of you guys have even had a run!
Fair play to Steve though - I could beat him off the line (just), but as soon as we got some decent traction, he was off like a banshee!
And what thanks do I get for helping him out with good deals and the like (FMIC, Boost Controller) - "Face it Matt - I'm pi55ing all over ya - you don't stand an F'in' chance!"
Even the cossie boys were more polite!
Highlight of the day for me was our (I think) first run together - like Steve says, just started drizzlin' a bit. Line up - get the lights - GO!
1st - ****e loads of axle tramp - bang it into second
2nd - AGAIN, ****e loads of wheelspin, steps out a bit. Lift off and power down again - whoooooooooooooahhhhhhh - I'm heading sideways now heading towards steves lane, ass kicked out about 18" IN A STRAIGHT LINE!
Into 3rd - still friggin spinning!
Into 4th - Wow - about 2000 rpm! Approx 50 mph(ish). floor it hoping to beat MrC - well I got a higher speed - but he STILL beat me!
And yes race fans - I'm still the sucker - taking on all of the yank-tanks and what ever else stateside is offering (errrrrr, not by choice though I might add) - I could see you lot ROFL at me as it pulled up, through the burnout smoke next to me. Me - in car, shakin head shouting to myself "WHY ME, WHY ME - NOT AGAIN!"
My best time of the day was about 14.1 I believe - the slips are in the car and cant be ar5ed to go out again. Still cant get over a ton though (99.6 best i think).
Oh well.........back to the drawing board. At least MY SKYLINE SEATS WILL LOOK BETTER THAN YOURS STEVE!

We ended up staying fairly local cos of the weather down at North Wield Air Strip where they were doing 1/4 miles times.

Next time though for definite and hopefully the weather will be an improvement.

Well times were not brilliant. I think I gotta knackered actuator. Doesnt seem to be holding boost.

What bhp is he running/wot boost/mods?
Must be at least 400bhp.
