View Full Version : ***Lets fix arry's car once and for all ***

As most of you know, the tale of arry and his 200sx isnt the happiest of stories to date.
He's had nothing but problems with his engine, and thanks to WAN:censored:RS such as the con artists formerly known as SE ni$$an, its not been right for a great deal of time and has cost him a rediculous sum of money to get not very far.
Most of us know the fiasco he has had with this car, for all you who dont search for his name and you'll see what we mean. (will post some links to illustrate this.)

So, i put it to you, good people of the SXOC, lets all club together and have a whip round to get arry a good solid engine built with some nice shiney new parts that will serve him well and make a good strong engine for him.
Its about time he had something to be happy about, in the last 2 months the only times i have seen arry truley happy is when his ***** showed signs of working before the bastid big ends went again, and when he got engaged a few days ago.

Arry is a top bloke as most of us know, and i'm sure you'll all agree that if anyone deserves the help of this community, its him.
The days of farting about trying to make something good of substandard engines by letting a certain aformentioned grease monkey company work on it are coming to an end.

Arry - i know you got a lot of pride and dont like taking favours if you can avoid, so sorry mate you have no say in this. Be it 10 or 1000 people who club in, we're gonna help :)

MODS - please could you make this a sticky thread? i know theres a lot of em nowadays but i think this one is of particular importance.

A Paypal account is going to be sorted very soon, any of you who have his address and dont use paypal you know the score, post a cheque or something.

Remember the more people the better the result will be :) anyone who can help in any way shape or form please offer here, the more resources we have the better this will work :)

Cheers guys and gals, i know arry has a lotta mates on this board, so this should work a treat, and hopefully, when this is done, we wont here any upset from arry :)

I will set the ball in motion - £25 quid from me and any parts from my car that can be of use for FREE:)

 :)

Hi after reading everything about this guys bad luck il gladly make a donation.

Rather than cash would a set of KLIC RACING heavy duty big ends be any use? they retail at £87 in my work il gladly donate them towards his engine rebuild.

If this is of any use could who ever is doing the rebuild let me know what size the crankshaft is at or is getting reground to and il supply the apropriate size of bearings.

If there is any other engine parts required i can also provide them at cost or as near to cost as my boss will permit as i work for a engine reconditioners firm.

Hope this is of any help.

So your going to fix the evidence before legal proceedings?

I presume your going to get the car independantly inspected with a full report detailing all failures and bad workmanship before doing anything to the car?

Not being negative, i think this is a great idea, I just dont want to see SE getting away with it!

What would be the point of saying you will pay and then not?

I don't suppose anyone will be doing an audit of who paid anyway since no-one has to pay.

Hi arry / all,

I dont know you arry, and I have never got round to joining the 200sx oc (sorry :o) I have donated £30 for my sins.

I would just like to say that out of all the owners clubs and websites I been on I have never seen such Generosity and camaraderie between an internet group. :notworthy: I wish I could of made it to one of your meets or rolling road sessions. But alas my 200 days are numbered, unless you accept me as a 350 owner.

Best of luck arry
:p

I'm guestimating about £600-£650 + a few parts at the mo. Although there are still a couple of cheques enroute and a couple of bank transfers to carry across from my current account to the savings one. .... so probably a grand total of £700 :)

I've got all the bits, well all the standard bits anyway. Now just saving up to get EVERYTHING I need together and I'll probably make a start on it into the new year.

It's still gonna happen as I've got big plans :D but what with working 45 hour weeks and wedding planning it's getting a little less prioritised

All the spare engine parts were in storage up until last week but I've collected 2 heads (and given one to Rob-S13 to help him out) and I'm going to start looking them over next week

Maybe I should do a 32v quad cam conversion :D
