What is the standard(or should be) PSi on a S14?

Standard boost should be 10psi, 0.7Bar.

Crap! With out the veriable gage I am reading a mere 5 Psi. Now running 13PSi but wondering if theres a leak or summat?
Any ideas! How can I check or find the problem??????

(Just changing my kecks) wont be mo.... LOL

Poo, I was reading 5 Psi standard. Help me, whats wrong then, thought 5 was a bit low.

5 psi is definitely low. You might only get 5 psi in a high gear under 4k revs ? Anyone agree with this ?
Apparently the actuator is set to hold 7psi and ECU uses the little actuator solenoid valve to bleed to 10psi at higher revs. Or so I read.
Sounds like you've got a leak, check all your hoses around the intercooler and intake, make sure they're nice and tight.

My fault, coz I took the restrictors out of the pipes, when the valves open theres no restiction at all on the presured side so less boost. When I but everything back as it was, it was 11 Psi the oposite which is good!!!!
