I want to remove the 200sx logo/badge on the boot of my s14. Is the thing just glued on the boot, or will it leave holes on the lid of the boot?
Help me please!

I like the idea of removing the 200SX badge and fitting a Micra one instead, but that's just me.
I cannot see any mechanical fixings for the badge so I reckon it's double sided tape or glue.

What you need to do if it is stuck on is buy some fishing line and cut through the double sided tape by placing the fishing line behind the badgeand sawing though it (this won't damage the paintwork) and then remove the adesive with something like Autoglym tar remover.

Hehehe, thanks guys.
The reason I'm doing this, is because I want to make it a bit more stealthy... 200sx'es are very rare here in Belgium... so if I debadge it, they wouldn't have a clue what it is....... when I blast pass them http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/biggrin.gif

Give it a blast with a hair dryer as well, it'll help soften the glue.

Hmm.. I wouldn't put it past Nissan to have pulled a stunt like this at some point... I'm always seeing Nissan Cherry's and Sunny's with "Maxima" badges stuck on 'em. I thought a Maxima was a big saloon thing! Perhaps the owners upgraded them in the same way as those people who put "Motorsport" stickers on their 1.1 Fiestas do.
Just wanted to get that off my chest http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/redface.gif
Don't do it!
The badges are stuck but also have two little plastic which go into holes.
It's the same for the front and back, I wanted to do the same but found out yesterday that they're not just stuck one.
The 200sx badge however is just stuck on, no plastic lugs.

Note sure about that Bean, i've just removed the rear badge on my 97' S14 and replaced it with a 270R badge, there aren't any holes, just double sided tape. I know the front badge has got locating holes though.
Apologies, I never read the damn question correctly!
Yes the 200sx can be taken off, it's only glued one. I however wanted to remove the Nissan badges off the front and rear but they're secured with plastic lugs as well as glue.
Sorry for being a spanner!
