Not sure whether to put this in Technical or General as it's more an aesthetic problem.

The Cream leather on the car looks great but is getting really grubby. I clean it regularly with Halfords leather cleaner and then AutoGlym leather conditioner but the job is getting more and more difficult.

Anyone know of a better way of getting the dirt out of leather?

JB,

I've got the same problem, the driver's seat does get grubby pretty quickly doesn't it? I'm also accumulating a number of smudges on the suede door inserts. When I can be arsed I'm going to try the cleaner I've got for my bike leathers on the seats. I'll let you know if it does the trick. I would have expected Autoglym to work well though, I 'm really impressed with the body shampoo and super resin polish - been using them for years.

Geoff

Autoglym is a conditioner meant to keep the leather soft and prevent cracks not a cleaner. As a conditioner it's great.

It's the cleaning bit I have a problem with.

If I were you I'd test your bike leather cleaner on an inconspicuous part of the car's leather just in case it doesn't like it.

For some reason I couldn't reply to this post at work. Maybe it's to do with the word Leather??

Let me know how you get on

Cheers
John
