R34 rims

Hi there,

I am wondering what size the R34 GTR rims are... 18x8 or 18x9 or what? And will they fit an s14? I know they fit S15's because I've seen them in Hong Kong on S15's...

I might import some from Hong Kong...

Anyone know for sure?

They are 9x18 and they are a bit too big for the front of as S14. Ask Dan_Blitzed he nearly fitted a set on his car.

I'm sure you could make them fit if you really wanted to, but the handling would be ****e.

Hmmm I guess 18x9 is too wide for the front of an S14... how wide can we go then?

I could've had a set of 9x18 Forged magnesium jobbies off an R34 and the tyres for £1600! I got quoted over £3k for the wheels alone from Nissan!

You can't go any wider than 8.5" on the front without arch mods and no more than 225/40/18 or equivalent 19 etc. 9" will go on the back with a 255/35/18 nicely thank you, but won't go between the drains down my shared driveway to my garage! http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif http://300zx.co.uk/200sx/ubb/frown.gif Oh well....

Far too many mods to list here, it takes up far too much space and after being asked very nicely I've decided to shorten the sig (Is that a WOOHOO I hear??)

At least you had the choice of 9x18, my rims only come in 8x18 (and I REALLY want 9x18 on the rear! Ah well, just have to wait untill they make some and buy a couple of new wheels.....)

225 in front max? I thought all the japanese guys fitted 235 front...

I guess they had some work done on the arches then.

Oh and is an 18x9 rim that rare?

Not really that rare, it's just that its sods law they don't make that size in the style you want, after you've spent ages looking for wheels you like!
