Hi everyone, its been ages and ages since i last posted here...
ive been snowed under with work... which i guess is a good thing :)
business is great so i cant complain.

Ive started up several sites over this past year, and now im onto my next big project.

www.ultimatecarmagazine.co.uk

hope you dont mind me posting this here :)

its going to be an online publication similar to the way fastcar and other mags work, the site will be rebuilt each month and each previous issue will be archived... just as you would collect magazines.

its not a cruise site, or a site to rival this one... its going to be a massive online magazine, fully devoted to cars and car events... not 14 year old kids that dont have a clue about cars.

of course there will be the eye candy of a model each month... but what magazine is complete without eyecandy :)

but most importantly there will be club features (such as this one) where if invited (hint hint) ill come down to your next big meet up and do an interview with the site/club founders, and members etc and do a feature on your club...
same goes for other clubs, one a month :)

other features are technical reviews, such as full turbo system reviews, ecu's the list goes on... but each issue will be very detailed, and practical as there will be how to features enclosed which relate to each issues theme.

car features of course are one of the most important things, show cars, race cars, cruise cars... the lot.
if any of you have a car they want featured send me over a pic and a spec so i can have a look through it :)
dont be shy :) im looking for all sorts of cars.
some cars dont even have to be all that special, but for the turbo feature for example have you put a massive turbo on something people said could never be done?
things like that.
i know some of you have got some powerful cars, and some cars which just look the business... so give me a shout.

editor@ultimatecarmagazine.co.uk
cc it to dave@vectorgraphics.net if you could as well :)

the site will be launching in feb, that should give me enough time to build up a whole bunch of features and actually get it running like a magazine.

i dont expect it to have a massive audience to start with, but after a couple of months there should be enough interest from all the clubs and cruises and shows to start getting the viewers in.

im also after companies... so anyone running a company in performance parts (is bren still?) then holla at me.

anything you guys could help me with would be great... im sure some of you have some great knowledge about nissans.
and if you have any ideas for future mag features and article ideas please let me know.

will be nice if some of your cars get featured in my mag :) and heres hopeing it kicks off :D

cheers folks.

i take it your not in la then lol.

nice car though.

one thing ive found interesting about a lot of 200sx owners is that most people put thier cash into the engine, and interior bits rather than wild bodykits and huge alloy spoilers.

its nice to see a different type of modding group for a change :)

Features on cars that had been properly modified to go, stop and steer better would be infintely more appealing than some laxxed up nova/saxo/insert shitty shopping trolley here, also would like to see technical features on the benefits of modifications.
Also no naked women (or men) would appeal, if I want that I would visit a porn site.

Good luck

Yeah :) There seems to be a general pride in the 'sleeper' status of the 200sx - a car that looks subtle, but can blow most things away :D

Again, (apart from a few) subtle mods look the dog's - dropping it, wide wheels, not too bling, little things like that

hiya,
the sites features will be useful... which is the whole point of the mag.

for example the issue which will be featured turbo systems and cars will be explaining the different types of turbo, the benifits of each, lag, anti-lag kits, all sorts of info.
stuff you can actually read and learn something from.... rather than just seeing something that looks cool but having no idea how its done.

same goes for our feature issues on paintwork, wheels, suspension, bodywork, ecu's, exhausts etc
one of the people helping with the mag is building a twin turbo system for his engine so that will be an ongoing staff feature.

there is another guy we are doing a long term feature on who happens to be modding a 200sx.

another is into his hondas and is doing an engine swap.

so everything featured in the mag should be good and worth your while reading :)

i see most of you dont have any kind of kit on the 200's
what do you think of the kits from places like jun or veilside?

is it more that you would rather spend the 2k from a kit on the engine than get a kit...

or that you just dont like the kits on the 200sx?

There are a few of us that like kits, just most of us dont want to have a car that looks good but gets spanked so we do engines first, then exterior.
