i think some people have dismissed this car, without looking at the details.

Subaru bonnet scoop = +20bhp
Vauxhall Omega bonnet = -10bhp
Vauxhall Cavalier headlights +5bhp
GSI bonnet vents incorporated into side skirts , nice!

Front leading edge of front wings plated and filled over existing indicator recesses = reduce drag coef by 1.65%
De-locked = reduce drag coef by 1.34%
Tailgate smoothed/flushed, = reduce drag coef by 2.35%

Paintwork: Blended fluorescent Red/Yellow, glows in dark, colour changes shade depending on viewing angle, (mines like that, but only cos of a dodgy respray at some time )

Underbody Full Neons. = +1000 street cred points

however there are some down sides.
1/ the car cost £250, so the project was over budget before it began
2/ it has a square steering wheel
3/ the rear spoler produces so much drag that at 30mph it's like hitting a wall.
4/ the weight of the rear spoiler means the front wheels are not on the road

This prelude was the creation of Type K Styling, a bodyshop nr. J11 of the M25.. It won car of the show at max power live...

the bloke that owns the shop, K, is a decent bloke and a mate of mine, and alot of work went into that prelude... the paint work and body work is mint, even if it isnt your cup of tea... i personally think it looks cack, but you cant comment on it until you have seen it up close and see the amount of work thats gone into it..

its also on 19"s and hydraulics :thumbs:
